Insul-Fab has been providing solutions to the power and electronics marketplace since the early 1980's when EMC regulations really started becoming a design issue for many computer manufacturers, among others. We began by developing a line of foil laminates for EMI shielding, and found many other areas of need to address FCC and UL regulatory issues. More recently, thermal management has become a much larger problem to contend with as systems get more densely packed and power consumption continues to rise. As a result, many of the largest and most well known electronics firms in the world have used our solutions in the following types of equipment:

To address these problems, we offer the following products to the electronics marketplace:

• Electrical Insulation - High dielectric strength thin materials in roll and sheet form, cut to fit applications for regulatory compliance and safety.
• EMI Shielding Laminates - Foil and film insulation laminates that are die cut to shape as enclosures, ground planes, etc. Aluminum, copper, and tinned copper available.
• Conductive EMI Gaskets - CF2 Series conductive foam with fabric. Conductive adhesives placed in selective areas for attachment.
• Thermal Interface Media - Thermally conductive but electrically insulating sheets, pads, and gap fillers for heat removal from sensitive areas.
• Gaskets and Seals - Closed cell foam such as neoprene, EPDM, silicone, and blends, incorporating adhesive for attachment for sealing enclosures non-conductively.
• Air Plenums and Diverters- Commonly formed UL rated plastics used to control air flow through a chassis for heat management.
• Sound Dampening - Specialty materials for attachment to sheet metal for vibration based noise reduction.
• Panels and Covers - For cosmetic purposes and covering punched holes in sheet metal allowing air leakage.
• Acoustic Foam - Open cell sponge with or without facing for durability, cosmetics, or clean-ability. Pressure sensitive on the back for attachment.
• Adhesives - VHB and other types of foam tape for attachment.

Insul-Fab can provide rapid prototypes for design and development, as well as design ideas for cost effective material selection and manufacturing. Once in production, we can design our manufacturing process for small or large runs. Many of these products are easily transportable to foreign markets and we arrange delivery overseas daily.
